Axes and Ales

This unique experience starts out with a 1 - 2 hour axe throwing session, (depending on group size), and competition with the "Axperts" at Sweet Axe Wellington. You'll learn throwing techniques and engage in some friendly axe-throwing fun. No axe throwing experience required! Then, Craft Beer Tours NZ, will take you on a behind-the-scenes craft beer tour to two of Wellington’s finest breweries where you’ll enjoy no less than 8 beers and an awesome VIP experience with dedicated brewery crew at each location.

Your Axes & Ales Experience includes:

• Engaging interpretive tour with fun, expert guides

• Transportation on our comfortable & clean brew bus

• Your very own “Axpert” who will show you safe and correct throwing techniques

• Fun 1 - 2 hour guided axe throwing session and competition, (depending on group size)

• Behind-the-scenes VIP access to two Wellington breweries with dedicated brewery staff

• At least 4 beers in each brewery

• Delicious lunch

• Complimentary bottled water 

• Duration approximately 6 hours

*Please note that this tour is designed for adults 18+ years of age. Guests must have a valid current ID to participate. Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in the axe throwing.
